Some of our shacks:

coax1 (1K)

Some of the members expressed an interest in posting pictures of their shacks so we can get some ideas and share with others. I'll kick it off with a shot of part of my shack. My HF radio on the right is an Icom 746 pro. The VHF in the middle is an Icom 2720, and the boat anchor on the left is a Hammarlund HQ-140-X for shortwave listening pleasure.

I'm on the second floor, so my antenna cables run out the window and attach to dipoles from the peak of my house out to trees in the front and back yards.

The two-meter antenna is on a pole attached with a chimney mount in the center of the house.

This is a picture of my two "babies": radio on the left is an IC-706MKIIG for VHF/UHF and on the right is an IC-756PROIII HF rig. The HT against the wall is for listening in on the tower at Columbia Metro Airport.
